Your missionary is a blessing to many! Random acts of service and planned service experiences each week bless those around your missionary. We rejoice when we learn of the service our missionaries engage in for others. Especially, those who are lonely, aged, and need some physical and emotional support. You may be surprised at the extent and depth of their service. Our missionaries have called for help when they notice an aged woman on the floor in her house (she had been down for several hours without the ability to get help). On another occasion, our missionaries were able to comfort a family that had just received word that a beloved son was killed in military action in the Middle East. Sometimes, just a short visit with a very lonely person gave them rest. Recently, we joined a few missionaries who went to the state mental hospital to sing for patients in the most secure area within the complex. The missionaries gave these poor souls some peace for a few minutes. I wish you could have been with us to see what happened as they began to sing songs of hope and love!
When you add up all the service our missionaries provide each week, you would be surprised. There are few groups of similarly aged young men and women who constantly put in this kind of community and personal service to help others each and every week.
Our goal is to ensure your missionary is happy, safe, and healthy. Laboring with our missionaries has been a joy.
